MSOE’s Accreditations

The two major types of accreditation agencies in the United States are regional associations and professional associations. These associations are independent of the government, and are comprised of respected educators and professionals. Teams of specialists from associations visit colleges and universities regularly to evaluate and report on their quality.

MSOE is seeking comments from the public by Feb. 15, 2014 about the university in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency.
