Rube Goldberg Machine Contest™

What is it?

Taking something simple and making it complicated is a teenager’s dream come true … and that’s just what this competition does. It challenges students to build a contraption that does something simple (peel an apple, sharpening a pencil, putting toothpaste on a toothbrush) in as many steps as possible.

Physics, chemistry, engineering and ingenuity are all put to the test.
