The sole purpose of this organization is to facilitate an environment that is build around volunteer work to better Milwaukee School of Engineering and any relations they may have with other organizations. In an effort to also prepare members for their professional careers, the organization will be conducted in a professional manner similar to corporate standards and structures in their meetings, events, and work performed.
Circle K International is part of the Kiwanis community and is the college equivalent of Key Club, which is present in many high schools. The organization is a service organization that does service projects, fundraisers, and other such activities for charitable purposes. Circle K also believes in having strong ties with all chapters, and there are several social events held each year that allow for networking and leadership skill development.
Students interested in teaming up and using our education to improve the life or lives of a person or community that is underprivileged. We plan to pursue projects locally and internationally including waste water management, providing a source of clean water, and construction that meets this need. We accept any person that is interested in helping the cause, and plan to implement these changes with a group trip at least one time each year. The majority of each year is spent planning, designing, assessing and fundraising to support the trip.
MSOE-GB is a student service organization that works with Global Brigades to do service trips in Latin America that assist the local population there through medical services and supplies.
Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people from all walks of life to work together in partnership to help build houses with families in need. The MSOE HFH Campus Chapter works to build, fundraise, advocate, and educate in the name of Habitat.
Project Community Computers
PCC is an organization that refurbishes donated computer equipment and distributes them to communities in need. So far PCC has set up computers at various locations in Southeastern Wisconsin as well as in India, Kenya, and Cameroon, Africa. They initially started working under David Howell and Servant-Leadership, but is trying to branch out. PCC is trying to grow and become a great group here on campus.
