While it's true that many jobs are never posted anywhere, even online, it is true that online job boards can still be a helpful tool in a multi-faceted job search.  Below is a link to 15 unique job boards offering opportunities in a variety of areas, some with a cool twist.

Strong communication skills are a requirement that is listed on just about every job description.  One way to demonstrate such skills is to be proficient in writing professional-looking e-mails to employers.  The article below is specifically referring to e-mailing a professor, but all of the tips apply to e-mailing an employer as well.

HOW:  Contact the Career Services Office at (414) 277-7120 to sign up for one of the available 45-minute interview slots.  Deadline to sign up is Wednesday March 21st, but slots fill up on a first-contact first-filled basis.
