Typically, 80 to 85% of our students have internship work experiences prior to graduation. These opportunities become available through the MSOE Career Services Department, faculty referrals and through contacts made by students. Student interns provide the employer the opportunity to evaluate potential employees prior to commitment to full-time positions.
Companies are eligible if they are willing to (1) place student employees in jobs which allow for application of classroom-acquired skills on the job, (2) allow student employees to work as part of an engineering technical, health care, or business professional team, and (3) allow student employees to progress to areas of increased responsibility earned through excellent job performance.
Internship opportunities are shared through Career Net. Click below to create an account or to log in.
