PEAK Events
MSOE is committed to serving the needs of engineers throughout their entire career!

To assist Wisconsin Professional Engineers (PEs) and other engineers and technical professionals interested in sharpening their knowledge and skills, the Continuing Studies and Outreach (CSO) department at MSOE is sponsoring Professional Engineers Advancing Knowledge (PEAK) education events.

A PEAK event is a collaborative knowledge exchange facilitated by MSOE with the goal of providing a cost-effective way for PEs to earn the professional development hours (PDHs) now required for maintaining licensure in Wisconsin. There are two ways to earn PDHs through PEAK events:
  1. Be a PEAK Presenter
PEs who develop and present a topic at a PEAK event will earn two PDHs for each one hour of topic presentation time, the first time the topic is presented. If you are interested in submitting a topic for review to present at a PEAK event, please view the presentation requirements.

Please complete this brief form after you have viewed the presentation requirements and are prepared to submit your topic. CSO staff will contact you for additional information, and if selected, to schedule your presentation.

  2. Attend a PEAK Education Event
PEs who register for and attend a PEAK event will earn PDHs for the sessions attended. One PDH is awarded for each one hour of session completion. Each participant will sign in at the end of the session and complete an evaluation form. If you are interested in attending an event, please submit your contact information so we can inform you of upcoming events.
Certificates of completion as documentation required by the state of Wisconsin will be mailed to each attendee following the PEAK event. PEAK events are scheduled four times per year as one-day mini-conferences, giving PEs and technical professionals the opportunity to earn more than 30 PDHs through the program. Events will be held on Saturdays, from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. on the MSOE downtown campus. The next PEAK events are scheduled for:
