Scholarship Description:

Criteria

To be considered a candidate for the Saint-Gobain scholarship the applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Be interested in applying for the summer 2012 study abroad program in Lille, France through Lille Catholic University.
  • Be a qualified, full-time student with academic status as a sophomore or junior in the fall of 2012.
  • Seeking professional baccalaureate degree in industrial, mechanical, computer, electrical or software engineering or in business management, international business, MIS, or technical communication from MSOE.
  • Maintain a MSOE minimum grade point average of 2.75 or higher on a 4.0 grading system.
  • A Saint-Gobain representative will interview candidates selected by as finalists for the scholarship awards.

 

Internship/Employment

In accepting a Saint-Gobain Scholarship, the recipient must:

  • If offered, the recipient must accept a paid summer 2013 internship at the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics facility in Portage, WI .
  • Serve as a campus liaison for the Saint-Gobain and attend selected MSOE professional and social functions.
  • Be willing to consider full-time employment with the Saint-Gobain following graduation.
