Tuition Assistance (TA) Program
The Tuition Assistance (TA) program provides financial assistance for voluntary off-duty education programs in support of a soldier's professional and personal self-development goals. Congress has given each branch of service the ability to pay up to 100% for the tuition expenses of its members. Contact the appropriate branch of service to determine criteria for eligibility, obligated service, and application process' and restrictions.
Payment Information
TA Funds are authorized up to 100% of tuition not to exceed $250 per semester hour equivalent and $4500 per individual per fiscal year. Within the caps and limits, fees may be paid along with tuition when the fees are directly required for course enrollment. Funding varies between branches.
