Students, whether awarded Federal Work-Study or not, are eligible to work on campus. Some positions may indicate *Must be eligible for Federal Work-Study*, in which case non work-study students are not eligible for these positions. Note that students who graduate in May from MSOE may be employed through the summer only.

if you are eligible for Federal Work-Study (Only applies to Academic Year Employment)
To be eligible for Federal Work-Study you must have filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have federally determined financial need. If you qualify for work-study it will be listed on you financial aid award offer. If you have not been awarded work-study, please contact the Financial Aid Office to see if you may qualify. - Complete a
Student Employment Application
When you find a job you are interested in on the Job Openings page, click apply to continue with the on-line application process and additionally complete a Student Employment Application to attach to your online application. - Interview
for the position(s) you are interested in
After submitting the application, the hiring supervisor may contact you to set up an interview. You may wish to contact the supervisor as well to set up an interview. - Complete
hiring paperwork
After you are hired you must complete a Student Contract. This must be signed by yourself and your supervisor. Once the contract is complete, bring it to the Human Resource office. All students who have not worked for the university prior will need to complete required payroll forms. Please note that you cannot start working before all of this paperwork is completed.
