International Students

MSOE is a university with an applications-oriented approach, committed to producing well-rounded graduates who can make a difference to the benefit of humanity.

MSOE students are from throughout the United States and 28 countries (2010-11). Join us to be a part of the MSOE family!

At MSOE, we strive to make a personal connection with each of our students. Your admission counselor is often the first person you interact with on our campus and will help you through the admission process. From application to registration, we are here to help you.

In addition to your admission counselor, MSOE will enhance your first year with the help of an International Ambassador Peer Mentor, a fellow international student who will take you under their wing and help you adjust to life at MSOE, Milwaukee and American culture.

If you need additional support with English language, MSOE can help. With English-as-a-Second Language (ESL) classes on campus, students are prepared for their academic major of study. Through our Learning Resource Center (LRC) we also provide free English assistance to all degree seeking students.

Where is MSOE?
MSOE is located in the city of Milwaukee, in the state of Wisconsin, in the north central part of the United States. Milwaukee has a metropolitan population of approximately 1.5 million residents.

Milwaukee is located approximately 145 kilometers (90 miles) north of Chicago, on the shore of Lake Michigan, one of the country's five great fresh-water lakes. Public beaches, lush parks, sailing and fishing opportunities offer outdoor recreation for all. Learn more about Milwaukee's climate.
