Current Activities

Sweetwater Organics

A group of students will be designing and constructing two tropism machines.

Past Activities

Meaningful Makeover

Kelly Costello, our president, has been working tirelessly to setup another project for this Spring.  It is the Meaningful Makeover project, where we renovate one of the living quarters for families taking shelter at the Salvation Army’s rehabilitation center.  This is a great way to fulfill your service hour requirements.  We hope that you all will consider volunteering. This year, we will be helping two families out! Date: April 18, 2009

Junior Achievement Day

Paul Tychsen, a past TBP member, has asked me to let you know about a community service/networking event called Junior Achievement Day.  “During this day, students from MSOE team with Accenture employees in a local grade school to teach real-life skills.  This could be anything from counting change to tying shoes.  I graduated from MSOE last year and am working for Accenture, an international consulting firm.  Our hope is to recruit 5-10 MSOE students to help with the event.  In doing so, we also hope to establish a stronger relationship with the MSOE community.
