Registration

  • Registration Fee: $85.00 per team

Participation
Maximum of one (1) team per school.

Composition of team:

Eight (8) students. Teams may be comprised of fewer than eight students, however, the team score is a total sum of points earned, not an average.

Maximum number of teams the competition will host:
40

Calculators Are Required.
The TI-89 and TI-92 are NOT ALLOWED.

Orientation (proctors, runners and timers)

Orientation (graders)

9 - 9:20 a.m.

Event 1 – Algebra

9:25 - 9:45 a.m.

Event 2 – Geometry

9:50 - 10:10 a.m.

Event 3 – Advanced Math

10:25 - 10:45 a.m.

Event 4 – Problem Solving

10:50 - 11:10 a.m.

Event 5 – Team Competition

11:15 - 11:35 a.m.

Break (final standings will be determined during this time)

11:35 - 12 p.m.

Awards Ceremony

12 - 1 p.m.

Optional campus tour (must sign up in advance)


Team Awards:
1st, 2nd & 3rd Place: Trophy

Individual Awards:
Top 16 Individuals: Medals
All participants will receive a T-shirt.

Job Definitions
All sponsors will be assigned one of the following duties:

Proctor: responsible for enforcing all rules as they apply to the student participants in their classroom and for distributing, administering, and collecting all event problem sets.

Runner: 
responsible for delivering the problem sets to the scoring room at the conclusion of each event.

Event Timer: 
responsible for signaling the beginning and end of each event.

Scoring Group: 
score and record the results of all events.
