How has the scholarship helped you in your academic career?
I'm not a traditional student, I actually took a seven-year break right after high school. The scholarship allows me to allocate more time to studying. Also, the scholarship offers an internship during the summer, which allows me to get on-the-job experience.
Why did you pick MSOE?
I picked MSOE because I liked the fact that they offer small classes unlike most of the other institutions around the area.
What do you like about MSOE?
I like the many extra curriculum activities that the school offers, from the many student organizations to the free tickets to movie theaters.
What do you hope to do after graduation?
I would like to attend graduate school, but I really don't have a budget for it. I hope to get a job at Rockwell Automation, my scholarship sponsor. I have had interships with them the last caouple of summers and I like the atmosphere and the fact that they are an international company, which increases my opportunities for travel. If possible, I might attend graduate school part time.
