Top three things you liked about being an MSOE student:

  • Professors know you by name and are very approachable in and out of the classroom.
  • Courses are challenging and specific to your career choice.
  • There are hands-on labs for many of the classes taken, which gives you an opportunity to use equipment and apply theories to practical applications.

What do you see as the benefits of an MSOE degree?

  • Placement is almost guaranteed
  • For BE students, we are not forced to pick an area of BE and will leave with the ability to choose a career in any field of BE we choose, due to the depth of the program MSOE offers.
  • I hope to further my degree in biomaterials and tissue engineering so that I can design compatible tissues for artificial organs.

Three reasons to choose MSOE:

  • The BE program covered all six areas of specialty without limiting a student to one.
  • Great location close to many attractions.
  • Interactive labs with a four-year design system that delves into hands-on learning right away.

What is the one thing you want prospective students to know?

My MSOE experience has been amazing. I have had the opportunity to join teams, build friendships and learn new and exciting prospects for the field of biomedical engineering.
