How did engineering/MSOE prepare you for their current role?

Having a technical background has really helped make learning and understanding aircraft systems easier.  From just learning the basic operation of the aircraft to troubleshooting issues while in flight, the technical expertise helps make decisions that much easier.

What made you choose MSOE?

The location and the reputation of receiving a high quality engineering education.

What was your favorite aspect of MSOE?

The small class sizes.

Did you have a favorite professor? Why?

Dr. Petersen - he was a great professor and an excellent mentor and counselor that was available whenever I needed advice or someone to talk to.

How do you spend your time when not in the air?

Traveling, hiking, enjoying the wines of Napa Valley, spending time with my beautiful wife Karen.
