Why did you choose MSOE?
Being a fully sponsored student, I wanted to choose a school that gave me the best advantage of my scholarship.  So I chose MSOE as it is one of the top engineering schools in the nation!

What culture barriers did you overcome?
Even though I was not used to the labs and had difficulties speaking English, I had an international advisor, an academic advisor, a mentor and two students as peer mentors that all gave me their time to help me succeed and achieve the high honor list during my freshman year.

What are your favorite classes?
My first mechanical engineering class started during my freshman year designing in SolidWorks. I loved that class so much that I worked on it in my spare time designing cars. The second quarter, I had a MATLAB class that was very challenging. I was able to program a robot that plays tic-tac-toe, a traffic light, control a motor speed and write the Chevrolet logo by a machine by the end of the third quarter!

What is the one thing you want prospective students to know?
MSOE was the first college I had ever heard that not only tells you that you will succeed, but provides you the tools to reach success. In the labs you will practice what you are taught in the classroom, which is a true advantage of MSOE over other schools.
