Why did you choose
MSOE?
With
computers and software being my passion, choosing to study engineering was an
obvious choice. I started researching
universities and MSOE stood out as one of the best-ranked schools in the United
States for undergraduate engineering programs. The 98% placement rate was an
important reason I chose MSOE as my place of study because I was confident that
I would find a good job after graduation.
What has MSOE taught
you?
MSOE influences you
in two ways -the development of a strong work ethic and time management skills.
With a couple of projects always on hand along with homework, one has to know
how to manage one's time properly.
What have you learned
about the MSOE community?
The professors here happily
provide expert guidance to students, along with outside-of-class help. Both
the faculty and students are very nice towards international students and
welcome them with warmth. They are always interested in learning more about our
culture. I've had hardly any problems settling down here, in a place so far
away from home! Learning and understanding the American way of life has
been a very challenging, enriching and ongoing experience for me.
