Why did you choose MSOE?
MSOE became the place for me due to a number of factors. Initially I was drawn to the Industrial Engineering (IE) program itself. Then, I met the professors within the IE department and became attached. The people here are so encouraging and helpful; they truly want you to succeed and learn as much as you can in order to get to the future you hope for. The small, family-like feel is very comforting and personal. I enjoy that my professors know who I am and actually realize if I miss a class or if I need help.

What are you involved in at MSOE?
Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), Engineers Without Borders (EWB), I take notes for Student Support Services, and I work at the MSOE Bookstore.

What have you liked most about MSOE so far?
The focus on our degrees and lack of deviation from what truly matters to our education.

What do you hope to do after graduation?
I hope to work with interior and industrial designers to make spaces more efficient and simultaneously comfortable by working with design and organizational techniques. With my education from MSOE, I hope to use my industrial engineering skill set to help improve design for specific needs, to create an efficient yet aesthetically pleasing atmosphere.

What would I tell someone who is considering coming to MSOE?

Hard work and dedication is what will guide you through to what you really aspire.
