What do you like about the University Scholars Program (USP)?
One thing I like about the USP is that it allows me to collaborate with other highly motivated students in a smaller classroom setting, resulting in a more engaging learning experience with the other students and the professors.
Why did you chose MSOE?
Because it allows me to declare my major as a freshman so I can immediately begin working in classes that interest me and apply to my area of study. I also chose MSOE because of its connections and reputation with local companies.
What do you like about your major?
I like the ME major because it is versatile, nearly every engineering project will require mechanical engineers. I also like the opportunity to specialize in energy because this follows closely with my intended career path.
Would you recommend incoming freshmen to join the USP if they are eligible?
I would certainly recommend eligible freshmen to join the USP because it is a great opportunity to make new friends and to work with other students who share your interests and level of commitment.
