Why did you choose your major and MSOE? Are you happy with the decision?
I chose my major because I like traveling, learning languages, meeting new people and economics. I think that a business background is a great foundation to build on, opens many doors of opportunity and can help me succeed in whatever type of profession or future education I choose. I wouldn't pick any other major at MSOE.
Are you looking forward to your year abroad?
Very much so. I've never been overseas, so this will be a great experience for me and will definitely give me insight into the international aspect of my major, as well as help me practice my German speaking skills.
What do you do for fun?
On the weekends my friends and I like to explore Milwaukee for new shops or restaurants, throw dinner parties, or cheer on the hockey team at their home games. But I can't think of a better way to wind down after a long day of homework and classes than by practicing my guitar.
What do you hope to do after graduation?
Travel the world! Work on my language fluency in French, Japanese and German and perhaps work in the Peace Corps for a year and then for the government.
