"MSOE is a great place to learn and to meet people with interests similar to yours. The small number of students per classroom and the professors' convenient office hours have helped me participate more during lectures as well as ask any quesitons to make sure I understand all of the topics discussed in class.
At MSOE you are able to take major-related classes as early as freshman year, which allows all students to start learning about their interests immediately. I started my first year at MSOE as a mechanical engineering major, but after talking to other industrial engineering (IE) students I decided to change my major to IE.
The high placement rate and average starting salaries for IE students is something that I liked, as well as all the efforts from the university's staff and faculty to get me started on planning my career and getting to know possible employers. Because of the effort from the Career Placement and the Financial Aid offices I was able to get an internship and scholarship my freshman year at MSOE. If you love engineering, MSOE is the right place for you!"
