Why did you pick MSOE?
MSOE had everything I was looking for – small class sizes, huge focus on major-related courses, lots of hands-on lab time, sufficient financial aid and an active city environment.
What do you like about MSOE?
The best part about MSOE is the no-nonsense approach to courses. Even during the first quarter of freshman year, I had classes that directly pertained to my major instead of wasting time, money and effort on courses that I would have little use for. Not many other schools are like that.
What would you tell someone who is considering coming to MSOE? Compare MSOE with other schools you are considering. If small class sizes, lots of hands-on learning and a major-focused curriculum are important to you then MSOE is the best possible place for you.
What do you do in your free time? I enjoy playing and listening to music, watching movies with friends, watching the Packers win, and working with technology.

I am the Chess Chair of MAGE and also a Resident Assistant.
