What do you see as the benefits of an MSOE degree?
In the engineering field, people know that it is difficult to obtain an MSOE degree; therefore, they know you are a hard worker and are very capable in the professional world.
What is the one thing you want prospective students to know?
A lot of students have the same hobbies and interests; basically, you will never feel like you are by yourself.
Where are you working since you graduated?
I work at Resolution Media as a paid search coordinator.
Given your experience in the workplace, what advice do you have?
Well, I work in an digital media company which has nothing to do with what I studied in school. Think outside the box, learn how to use excel and powerpoint to the point of mastery. Get fluent with everything that has to do with the internet. Prepare to work extra extra hard. Time management is a must in this business because every second is valuable.
