Books for Understanding Contemporary Japan
- The Walter Schroeder Library has received a wonderful donation of scholarly and academic books on contemporary Japan. Topic coverage includes the history of Japan, the literature of Japan, as well as politics, business, economics, technology, and the Arts in contemporary Japan. This outstanding donation was received from The Nippon Foundation. You can quickly search for a complete list of books in this donation by accessing the Library Catalog, and then search on the term Nippon Foundation, or you can browse the books by visiting the display near the Circulation Desk in the library.
Faculty Development Collection
- The Walter Schroeder Library supports the continued learning of MSOE's faculty. The Faculty Development Collection is a list of electronic and in-house library resources geared towards education, servant leadership and teaching skills.
- A collection of hard-to-find productions from leading business and management theorists about topics such as knowledge management, e-commerce, corporate change, and more. This collection is available to MSOE students, staff and faculty as well as registered customers of the video collection.
Center for BioMolecular Modeling Lending Library
- A unique collection of accurate physical models of molecular structures for use in science classrooms. These models are lent out to middle schools, high schools and universities through out North America.
Dr. Vincent Canino Biomedical Engineering Collection
- A collection of books donated to the Walter Schroeder Library by Dr. Vincent Canino. Dr. Canino is a Professor Emeritus of MSOE and he served as a professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department for 41 years before retiring in 2008. He was involved with the development of MSOE's Biomedical Engineering degree program, as well as MSOE's Master of Science in Perfusion program, the first in the country.
