The Walter Schroeder Library provides our users with a variety of areas for both quiet study and group study.
Group Study
The main floor (the second floor) of the library is an area where socialization is welcome. The lounge area is full of comfortable leather couches and chairs and cafe tables. The south side of the main floor has large tables and plenty of seating that allows for groups to spread out and work collaboratively.
Study Rooms
We offer seven private study rooms. Each study room has electrical outlets and network access points to accommodate laptops. Each room also has a chalkboard.
All seven study rooms may be reserved. Requests may be made online or by calling the front desk (414-277-7180). Rooms must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.
Quiet Study
The first floor of the library is a quiet zone, equipped with comfortable sofas and study carrels. No talking or cell phone use is allowed on this floor to ensure that you have a quiet area on campus. Wireless Internet is available throughout the library.
