ABSTRACT: Records of Milwaukee County Medical Complex, School of Nursing, Alumni Association and its predecessor institutions. Most of the records are from the Milwaukee County General Hospital, School of Nursing including annual, department, and statistical reports, newspaper clippings, staff and student newsletters, commencement programs, yearbooks, student records, class notes of students and a collection of books from the school library. The collection contains an extensive number of visual materials (photographs and lantern slides) of buildings, staff, students, and facilities dating from the 1888 through the 1990s. The collection also contains records of the alumni association include minutes of meetings, newsletters, and photographs.
ACCESS RESTRICTIONS: There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all members of the public in accordance with state law. However, the researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel, privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin Statutes 19.21-19.39).
