Off-Campus Access with Barcodes


Regular Off-Campus Access Instructions

 

All of the library's protected databases are remotely available to MSOE students and employess.

To access the protected databases from off campus, simply click the on-campus link to the database. You do not need to click the off-campus access link.


When you click the on-campus link to a database from off campus, you will be prompted to input your MSOE username and password. After you successfully input your MSOE username and password, you will be able to access the protected database.




Off-Campus Access using Barcodes

 

Databases provided by EBSCO and Proquest may also be accessed from off campus by using a barcode. Follow the instructions listed below if you are having trouble with remote access.


EBSCO Databases

EBSCO databases can be accessed from off campus, by clicking on the barcode link below. You will be prompted to input a Patron ID number. Use the barcode number on your MSOE ID card as your Patron ID number.

Proquest databases can be accessed from off campus by clicking on the barcode link below. You will be prompted to input a barcode number. Use the barcode number on your MSOE ID card as your barcode number.
