MSOE Library Provided Databases

While you can use the Horizon Catalog to find whether we have a particular journal, to do topical subject searching you need to use the library bibliographic and full-text databases the MSOE Library offers you.

Because Medical Informatics covers communication and business applications, as well as computer and information technology in medicine and health care, it is necessary to search for information in databases that cover all of the related fields. Not all of the information will be found in one type of source or one type of database.

The MSOE Library provides on- and off-campus access to a number of specialized databases. View a list of databases that pertain specifically to the Medical Informatics Program

Within a fulltext database, the full text of an article might not appear. If this occurs, click on the LinkSource icon next to the article to see if a full text version is available from another database at MSOE.
