What if the Article Isn't Available in the Database?

Follow these steps to locate articles that are not available within the database
  1. Click on the LinkSource icon. This program will check all of our databases to see if the full text article is available elsewhere.
  2. If this doesn't work, check the In-House Print Periodical Holdings List. We may have a print copy of the article.
    • Have the article citation information in front of you (title of journal; volume; issue; pagination; title of article; and author)
    • Look for the JOURNAL title.
    • If you find it, you will see the call number and retention period of the journal.
    • All of the journals are located on the first floor of the library
  3. If you still cannot locate the article, see the Interlibrary Loan and InfoPass page for ordering information.
