The school year is fast approaching, and the Career Services Office is busy preparing a number of events for the fall. You will not want to miss these FREE opportunities, so “Save The Dates” and place them on your calendars today!
Senior Workshop – Saturday, September 10th
Attention Seniors! Join us for a morning workshop in the Todd Wehr Auditorium from 8:30am-12pm to prepare for your final year at MSOE and that important first big job search. Learn how to sell yourself to employers and maximize your use of Career Services. Paul Shane from Rockwell Automation will conduct a live practice interview, and guest speaker Tim Pappas will focus on marketing yourself and networking. Please RSVP to Cathlyn Ferraro (ferraro@msoe.edu, 414-277-7120) or stop by the Career Services Office to sign up. Please include your Major when you RSVP.
Internship Workshop – Tuesday, September 13th
Attention Juniors, Sophomores, and interested freshmen! This evening workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of getting an internship. Learn to maximize your Career Net resume and the on-campus interview process. Guest speaker Tim Pappas will emphasize the importance of starting the search early and the value of internships in your career development. MSOE Career Fair – Friday, October 7th
All students and alumni - This annual event is the keystone of the fall recruiting season! Meet company representatives, hand out résumés, and establish yourself as a prime candidate early on in the game. 1st floor CC, 9am-2:30pm.
NEW: Graduate School and Professional Career Fair – Thursday, October 13th
This inaugural fair targets undergrads who are interested in graduate school, and current graduate students or experienced candidates who are looking for full-time employment. Graduate Schools will be on hand to tell you about their programs and application processes. Employers who are seeking graduate level skills or seasoned professionals will be here recruiting. 3rd floor CC, 2pm-7pm.
Drop-in Assistance
The Career Services Office maintains an open-door policy for 1-on-1 assistance with your resume, Montage Talent online portfolios, interview skills, and more. Stop by to make your resume shine. Appointments are available as well.
