Internships are key to full-time employment

As you might expect, having one or more internship experiences during college greatly increases your success in finding jobs for after graduation.
A national study found that more graduates who had an internship experience:
- Received at least one job offer...
- Accepted an offer...
- Received a higher salary...
...than students who had not completed an internship experience.
Underclassmen, even freshmen, should be working hard to obtain summer internships if you are not already. Don't wait until the spring, either. Make sure you have a resume in Career Net (http://careernet.msoe.edu/) and that you take advantage of the Career Fair and on-campus interviews throughout the school year. Employers will interview in the fall for summer internships.
