The school year is approaching, and the Career Services Office is providing a number of events for the fall. You will not want to miss these FREE opportunities, so “Save The Dates” and place them on your calendars today!
Senior Workshop – Saturday, Sept 8th
Attention Seniors! Prepare for your final year at MSOE and that important first big job search. Learn how to sell yourself to employers and maximize your use of Career Services. Wade Krogwold from Direct Supply will conduct a live practice interview, and guest speaker Laura Farnham (V.P. of Johnson Controls) will focus on preparing for professional success. Internship Workshop – Tuesday, Sept 11th
Attention Juniors, Sophomores, and interested freshmen! This evening workshop will focus on the nuts and bolts of getting an internship. Learn to maximize your Career Net resume and the on-campus interview process. Guest speaker Tim Pappas will emphasize the importance of starting the search early and the value of internships in your career development. Developing your PERSONAL BRAND for Success – Tuesday, Oct 9th
Guest speaker Julius Rhodes will provide specific tips to be successful in your personal and professional life. Goals + Action = Success! Mr. Rhodes is the founder and principal of mpr group, and a very dynamic speaker. CC Multipurpose Room, 5:30pm-7pm.
MSOE Career Fair – THURSDAY, October 11th
NEW DAY & LOCATION! All students and alumni - This annual event is the keystone of the fall recruiting season! Meet company representatives, hand out resumes, and establish yourself as a prime candidate early on in the game. KERN CENTER, 9am-2:30pm.
Drop-in Assistance
The Career Services Office maintains an open-door policy for 1-on-1 assistance with your resume, Montage Talent online portfolios, interview skills, and more. Stop by to make your resume shine. Appointments are available as well.

2nd ANNUAL Graduate School and Professional Career Fair – Thursday, DECEMBER 6th
This fair targets undergrads who are interested in graduate school, and current graduate students or experienced candidates who are looking for full-time employment. Graduate Schools will be on hand to tell you about their programs and application processes. Employers who are seeking graduate level skills or seasoned professionals will be here recruiting. 3rd floor CC, 4pm-7pm.
