Welcome to the MSOE Career Services Office blog! This is your chance to stay up-to-date on important events, job search strategies, resume information, resources, market trends and much more. The Career Services
Office assists you with developing skills to successfully find jobs and internships, and our blog will keep you informed throughout the process. Check back often, or add us to your RSS Reader to stay connected.
The Career Services Office is located on the third floor of the CC building right next to the Registrar's Office. We are open Monday - Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., and welcome you to stop by any time we are here. Mary Spencer, Erik Oswald, and Cathi Ferraro are available to assist you with your job search needs.
One primary resource is our Career Net resume database. Having your resume in Career Net has many benefits, including:
- Employers can view your resume online and contact you directly.
- Receive job descriptions forwarded to you via e-mail.
- View job descriptions that are posted online.
- Become eligible for on-campus interviews.
- Receive feedback and advice from the MSOE Career Services Office regarding your resume and job search.
A great resource for creating an online portfolio that you can share with employers is MSOE Expressume.
- Upload samples of projects and other professional documents.
- Create and post video answers to sample interview questions.
- Conduct video conference interviews and online chats with employers.
- Request and Upload written, audio, and video Professional References.
