Summer activities to build your resume and skills

There's still time to find an internship for this summer, so keep working hard to make that happen. Get your resume into Career Net if it's not already there, and actively send resumes to employers. However, if you don't end up with an internship in the end, don't waste the summer sitting around the house. Do the following activities to build your resume and get a head start on your professional development:
Volunteer
Job shadow
Set up informational interviews
Find networking events
Attend alumni events
Revamp your resume
Create a business card
Research cities of interest
Revamp social media profiles
Start a blog
