  • Never tell someone that LinkedIn is a job-board or that you're afraid your boss will see that you are on ‘there'. 
  • Learn how to use LinkedIn without having to ask someone. 
  • Make sure your profile is 100% complete. 
  • Create a vanity URL.
  • Get connected to people.

 

  • Install AND USE some of the applications that LinkedIn offers.
  • Join AND PARTICIPATE IN Groups.

 

  • Answer questions. 
  • DON'T Advertise That You Are Unemployed.

 

  • Use Keywords.

  • Add your LinkedIn vanity URL to your email signature. 
  • Say something interesting.
