Avoid Looking like a Hack on LinkedIn

- Never tell someone that LinkedIn is a job-board or that you're afraid your boss will see that you are on ‘there'.
- Learn how to use LinkedIn without having to ask someone.
- Make sure your profile is 100% complete.
- Create a vanity URL.
- Get connected to people.
- Install AND USE some of the applications that LinkedIn offers.
- Join AND PARTICIPATE IN Groups.
- Answer questions.
- DON'T Advertise That You Are Unemployed.
- Use Keywords.
- Three new connections, three old connections, one discussion, one answer.
- Add your LinkedIn vanity URL to your email signature.
- Say something interesting.
