The Learning Resource Center (LRC)provides MSOE students with free academic supportservices in primarily freshman and sophomore courses through individualpeer tutoring, student-led Interactive Study Sessions (ISS), and amathematics/physics drop-in center.
The LRC staff also provides students with specific learning strategies in the areas of mathematics,science, reading, composition, time management, and study skills. Inaddition, an English as a Second Language (ESL) coordinator is available for international students whowish to improve their English language skills through grammarinstruction, vocabulary building, and writing practice and review.
The members of the LRC staff also serve as program coordinators for studentsadmitted to MSOE in the New Student Probation program.
