This drop-in center, which is located in CC-08, provides immediate help for the entire mathematics and physics series. Generally staffed by one or two tutors each hour, students can get short-term help for immediate questions without needing to make an appointment. In addition, during certain hours of the fall and winter quarters, a writing tutor is available in a specifically designated area of the drop-in center for short-term help with papers, lab reports, and other writing assignments. If further, long-term assistance is needed, the student can schedule a weekly appointment with another peer tutor.
