Directions to the Kern Center:
Approaching from the North / I-43
- Take the FOND DU LAC / MCKINLEY AVE EXIT RAMP
- Turn slight LEFT onto W. MCKINLEY AVE (EASTBOUND).
- Turn slight RIGHT onto W. MCKINLEY AVE.
- Continue onto E. KNAPP ST. (street name will change to Knapp on the east side of the river).
- Turn RIGHT onto N. BROADWAY, to main entrance of building
Approaching from the West / I-94
- Take the I-43 NORTHBOUND RAMP
- Merge onto I-43 NORTHBOUND
- Take the MCKINLEY AVE EASTBOUND EXIT RAMP
- Continue onto W MCKINLEY AVE EASTBOUND
- Turn slight RIGHT onto W. MCKINLEY AVE
- Continue onto E. KNAPP ST. (street name will change to Knapp on the east side of the river).
- Turn RIGHT onto N. BROADWAY, to main entrance of building
Approaching from the South / I-94 - I-43
- Continue onto I-43 NORTHBOUND (Just past the downtown area)
- Take the MCKINLEY AVE (EASTBOUND) EXIT RAMP
- Turn slight RIGHT onto W. MCKINLEY AVE
- Continue onto E. KNAPP ST. (street name will change to Knapp on the east side of the river).
- Turn RIGHT onto N. BROADWAY, to main entrance of building
Parking
For MSOE parking, proceed south on Broadway past the Kern Center to W. Highland St. Turn left into the MSOE Broadway parking lot. All other MSOE campus lots (Milwaukee Street A and B lots; State Street A, B, and C lots) will be open and available for free, no time limit parking.
Street parking will also be available in the surrounding area at no meter charge; some areas will have a 2-hour time restriction still in effect. Public parking can also be found behind the Kern Center at 1200 N. Water St. for a fee.
