Good afternoon, Qi Tian. Thanks for your great questions regarding the MS in Structural Engineering!
MSOE accepts international students during our Fall, Winter, and Spring terms. We ask that your application and all supporting documentation be received in our office 60 days before the start of the term you wish to begin. Therefore, if you wish to begin in Fall (September), all documentation should be received before July. A Winter (December) start date, means all documentation should arrive before October and receiving your documents by January would work for a Spring (March) start date.
If your TOEFL score does not meet the required 79, you should still complete the MSOE application. Within the application, you will be able to let MSOE know you are looking for conditional admission. Then you may choose to attend ESL courses on campus here at MSOE by filling out an additional application for the program! You will receive more information on ESL once your application is received. In the meantime, the ESL Student Group Page (http://www.msoe.edu/groups/esl-students) is a great place to find up to date information about the program.
Please let me know if you have further questions. I'm happy to help!
Thank you for your interest in MSOE! You can also find more information about our Intensive Academic ESL Program by visiting http://www.msoe.edu/community/admissions/international/page/2280/msoe-esl-program
or emailing Josiebel Sambolin, Director of ESL Department for more information and to receive a program application.
I want to apply for MS in Structural Engineering, but I didn't find the application deadlines. Can anybody help me with that?
Also my TOEFL score may not be able to meet the requirement, so I would like to know how to apply for conditional admission? Or can anybody tell me where I can find a admission counselor? Thank you very much!
