Accelerated Nursing weekly schedule

Dayle Bugalski

What exactly does the class/clinical schedule look like for the Fall 2014 accelerated nursing class? Are students in class M-F all day? Are there evening classes? What are the chances of continuing to work part time while in the program?

Hello Dayle - Thank you for your question. Typically the ASD-BSN program involves two full days of course work (usually during the day) and another 1 to 2 days per week of clinical experiences. The clinical experiences are 1 day/week for the first quarter and then 2 days/week (6 to 8 hours per day) the remaining 5 quarters of the program. The clinical days may be on Saturdays also. It is recommended that students do not work during this accelerated program. Included is a link to the MSOE website to a document with commonly asked questions.

Dayle - class are two full days per week. Days of the week may vary from quarter to quarter. Once clinicals start then there are two more days per week. The clinical days can be during the day, evening, or on Saturdays.
