New faculty join MSOE

Dr. Katarina Midelfort joined the Milwaukee School of Engineering faculty as an assistant
professor in the Physics and Chemistry Department. She will be teaching in the BioMolecular Engineering degree program. Dr. Midelfort earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University, master's degree in biophysics and computational biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Ph.D. in molecular and systems toxicology and pharmacology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Midelfort has done extensive research at Pfizer Global Research and Development, EPIX Medical Inc., Carnegie Mellon, Duke University, University of Illinois, and MIT.
