MSOE basketball hosts Engineers Classic

The MSOE men's basketball team will host the second annual Raiders Engineers Classic Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10 at the Kern Center. The tournament will feature four of the nation's most prominent engineering and technological institutions underneath one roof.
In addition to MSOE, other Division III opponents include Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) of Worcester, Mass., Case Western Reserve University of Cleveland, Ohio, and NAIA member Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) from Chicago, Illinois.
The tournament will begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 9 when WPI takes on Case Western. MSOE and IIT will battle at 4 p.m. While all four schools are well known for their academic reputation, they are also making great strides in the athletic front.
