MSOE welcomes Archbishop of Milwaukee Timothy Dolan in his first convocation at any Milwaukee university campus! New and returning students and their families, faculty and staff will attend. Sponsored by the Catholic Student Association and the Office of Servant-Leadership. An MSOE alumni band will provide music, along with a 20-voice chorus. It is part of activities at the university to welcome students to campus for 2005-06 academic year.

MSOE student will gather Wednesday, Sept. 7 in a blanket drive to aid Gulf hurricane victims, and will be organizing water purification packets on Friday, Sept. 9. Activities are sponsored by Sponsored by the Catholic Student Association, the Office of Servant-Leadership and Peer Mentors.
No students have yet transferred, but MSOE will be accepting students who wish to transfer from hurricane-struck universities.
MSOE would be glad to work with any student who is unable to enroll at their intended institution due to the effects of Hurricane Katrina. Our classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, and we are able to enroll new students through the close of business on Friday, Sept. 9, 2005. Our administration has approved reducing our tuition by one-third to ease the transition for all displaced students.
