High school students excel in regional math and science bowl at MSOE

Results are in from the regional section of the U.S. Department of Energy National Science Bowl competition. Teams from throughout Wisconsin and Illinois high schools competed in this challenging Jeopardy-style competition on subjects such as astronomy, biology, physics, chemistry, computers, the earth and general sciences.
The competition was hosted Jan. 29 by Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and sponsored by Johnson Controls of Milwaukee.
1ST PLACE: The first place team, Hoffman Estates High School, will receive an expense-paid trip to the National Science Bowl, slated April 28-May 2 in Washington, D.C.
