Local students shine at MSOE competition

A local high school team placed among the top competitors in a math, computer and science conference hosted by Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Nov. 19, 22 and 23. The annual Opportunity Conference drew teams from throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois to compete and demonstrate excellence in the areas of computers, mathematics and science. Trophies, medals and plaques were awarded to recognize top individual and team scores, and all students received t-shirts for their participation.
COMPUTER COMPETITION
1st place Homestead H.S. Mequon, Wis.
Team Members: Teacher/Coach: Jeridon Clark; Andy Kayner (Junior), Mike Sullivan (Sophomore), Bryan Clark (Sophomore), Thomas Nagel (Sophomore). All are from Mequon.
2nd place Whitewater H.S. Whitewater, Wis.
