Cappiello to give pre-election financial forecast for 2005

Frank Cappiello, an expert on the national economy and a recognized authority on investments, will give his pre-election outlook for 2005 at MSOE's annual Bottom Line Breakfast 7:30-9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 1 at the Hyatt Regency-Milwaukee (333 W. Kilbourn Ave.). Cappiello will discuss November's election and other factors that are sure to weigh on next year's financial outlook.

Cappiello is president of McCullough, Andrews & Cappiello Inc., a large investment counseling firm with offices in San Francisco and Baltimore. His background in economics is extensive: formerly the Chief Investment Officer for an insurance holding company as well as Research Director of a major stock brokerage firm. He helped found and served as a Director/Advisor to a successful venture capital fund and is also a founder and past director of a small business commercial bank, The Bank of Maryland which eventually became part of BB&T Corp, a $44 billion bank holding company.
Cappiello has written a number of best-selling books including Frank Cappiello's New Guide to Finding the Next Superstock, From Main Street to Wall Street and The Complete Guide to Closed-End Funds. Cappiello was best known as a regular panelist on the award-winning television program, Wall $treet Week with Louis Rukeyser. He was on the first show in November 1970 and on the last show, March 22, 2002. He is now a regular panelist on Rukeyser's successor show, Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street on CNBC. He has been a frequent guest on Good Morning, America as well as CNN's Money Line, CNN Financial's Market Sweep, and CNBC.
He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and Harvard University's Graduate School of Business Administration. Cappiello holds an honorary doctor of business and economics degree from MSOE.
