Ruud gift brightens Student Campus Center

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) has received an in-kind gift from Ruud Lighting Inc. and Dr. Alan J. Ruud, a 1969 alumnus and professional engineer. The new lighting fixtures can be seen hanging in the Cudahy Student Center (1025 N. Broadway, 3rd floor), replacing the previous lights.
Dr. Ruud, an MSOE Regent, is chairman and CEO of Ruud Lighting Inc. of Racine, Wis., which manufactures and sells industrial, commercial and residential lighting fixtures directly to electrical and landscape contractors, installers and wholesalers. Ruud founded the company in 1982 and has been awarded numerous patents for his innovative designs. As a lighting designer, he is nationally recognized for his expertise in the lighting industry.
