Local teams shine at MSOE competition

High school teams competed in a math, computer and science conference hosted by Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) Nov. 21, 24 and 25. The annual Opportunity Conference drew teams from throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois to compete and demonstrate excellence in the areas of computers, mathematics and science. Trophies, medals and plaques were awarded to recognize top individual and team scores, and all students received t-shirts for their participation.

COMPUTER COMPETITION

1st place - Homestead H.S. (Mequon, Wis.)

(Homestead took first place in last year's OP competition.)

2nd place - New Berlin Eisenhower H.S. (New Berlin, Wis.)
