Great Race Innovation Chase Winners Announced

Teams from eight universities competed in the Great Race Innovation Chase in Milwaukee April 12. Hosted by Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), the event required students to be innovative and creative as they scoured the city for clues in a competition modeled after the popular television shows, "The Amazing Race" and "The Apprentice."
With the ultimate goal of creating a marketing strategy for Chevrolet that features their new, environmentally-friendly engine technologies such as the E-85, Hybrids and, ultimately, the Chevy Volt, (an electric car), the teams completed tasks on the MSOE campus, at the Milwaukee Art Museum, Discovery World and Holz Chevrolet.
Sponsors of the event included MSOE, the Uihlein/Spitzer Endowed Fund for Entrepreneurship, Holz Chevrolet, OnStar, GMAC Financial Services and the KEEN (Kern Entrepreneurship Education Network) grant. MSOE plans to make this an annual event. In the coming weeks, video storylines will be added to http://www.innovationchase.com/.
