Goethe House Wisconsin has been a part of Milwaukee's history for 50 years, and now is a part of the MSOE community, serving as a German cultural and language resource to students and educators.

The Goethe House (formerly located in the downtown Milwaukee Public Library) serves as a statewide resource for information about the past and present culture of all German-speaking people.

Located in MSOE's Alumni Partnership Center, the Goethe House offers a number of services and events to the community including: teacher training seminars; tutoring to students of German; translations; help with genealogical and bibliographic research; lectures; arts programming; films; German language classes for adults and children; as well as a browsing corner with German magazines, videos, books and reference materials.  Immersion day camps for children have taken place for 10 summers, and this year a camp from July 7 to 11 on the MSOE campus features the topic:  The Mechanics of the Human Body and Fitness auf Deutsch!
